There's nothing quite like the gritty feeling of wakefulness that comes with the night shift. Sleeping when the sun is out and living in the dark brings out the creature in us.

The path I travelled to become an artist is a winding one. My earliest ambition was to be a great actress, singer, and dancer. At age nine I began performing with Kidskits and studying theater. For the next eleven years I pursued acting with a single minded devotion. Then at age twenty I was done. I studied finance, literature, and business. I had a baby, I got serious about college and I discovered law. With the same intensity I had pursued acting I pursued litigating. I discovered that twenty years of theater training and experience made me a damned fine litigator. I protected abused children, endangered species, and supported small businesses.
